We strive to eliminate at source the causes of accidents and marine pollution such as collisions, groundings and operational spills. To take this a stage further we have adopted a sound environmental policy in which we recognize that environmental protection and management is one of our highest priorities and by adopting the principles of ISO 14001:2004, the international standard for environmental management. We have set up an environmental management team and constantly carry out training for all of our sea and shore-based staff in environmental awareness.

We have an inescapable duty to pass on to future generations a healthy and diverse environment.
